SYMPTOMS

Portions of the left side of the Bullets and Numbering dialog box are missing. This behavior occurs when you add the ToolsBulletsNumbers command to one of your menus or when you run the ToolsBulletsNumbers command by clicking Macro on the Tools menu.

WORKAROUND

Use the default Bullets And Numbering command on the Format menu.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Word 98 Macintosh Edition.
