SYMPTOMS

As you scroll the Dictionary of Quotations in Microsoft Bookshelf for the Macintosh, 1995 edition, you may receive the following error message:

The application "unknown" has unexpectedly quit because an error of type 15 occurred.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Bookshelf 1995 edition for the Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

RESOLUTION

To avoid the error message, click the scroll bar button strip to page through the list. Do not click the scroll bar arrows.
