Writer: Adjust Margins to Fix Truncated Borders

SYMPTOMS
In Creative Writer, if you create a document with a border around it, the
border may be cut off when you view the document on the screen, and also
when you print the document.
CAUSE
This problem commonly occurs when the margins selected for the current
document are smaller than the margins defined in the printer setup.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, use the following steps to increase the margins in
your document:
Creative Writer 2.0
- Click the Page menu, then click the Margins tool.
You have the following choices for margin widths (as displayed from the
top to bottom): 0.188 inch, 0.375 inch, 0.625 inch, .938 inch, and 1.125
inches).
- Click a margin setting larger than the current setting.
- If the border of your document is still cut off, select an even larger
margin setting.
Creative Writer 1.0
- In the Writing Studio, click the Page Stuff tool (the book with the
ruler), click the Margins tool, and select a margin option.
You have the following choices for margin widths (as displayed from top
to bottom): 0.5 inch, 0.75 inch, 1 inch, 1.25 inches, and 1.5 inches.
Note that the current margin setting is indicated with a check mark.
- Click a margin setting larger than the current setting.
- If the border of your document is still cut off, select an even larger
margin setting.
