SUMMARY
To add more than the default four lines to an Organization Chart box,
follow these steps:
- Create a new Organization Chart.
- Select one of the subordinate's boxes.
- On the Styles menu, click the Elongated Box style.
- Add a subordinate to the box you selected in step 2.
- Click the new subordinate, and drag it to the box that precedes it.
NOTE: When you drag the box onto the other subordinate box, you must make sure that a white directional arrow appears before you release the mouse. If no arrow is visible when you drop the box, you receive the following message:
To move a box, drag it OVER its new manager or co-worker, then release the mouse button. Press F1 for Help.
The two boxes are now combined. You can expand both to four levels each, and all levels appear in the same box. To add additional lines, repeat steps 1 through 5.
