Logitech MouseWare 6.5 and Norton Desktop

SYMPTOMS
After you install MouseWare 6.5 on a computer running Norton Desktop in
Windows 95, when you start the computer the following error message is
displayed on a blue screen:
Invalid VXD dynamic link call from SYMEvent (01) + 0000121F to device
VMD, Service 7. Your Windows configuration is invalid. Run Windows
Setup program again to correct this problem.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Norton Desktop for Windows is not compatible
with MouseWare 6.5 when you are running Windows 95.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, change to one of the Logitech mouse driver types
listed in the Mouse tool in Control Panel. If you install any MouseWare
version written for Windows 3.1, you need to change to one of the Windows
95 Logitech mouse types to reinstall the Windows 95 Logitech driver.
MORE INFORMATION
According to Logitech, MouseWare 6.5 and earlier is not designed to work
with Windows 95. You may want to contact Logitech to obtain an upgraded
version of MouseWare designed to work with Windows 95.
