SYMPTOMS
After you install and configure the Intel PCI EtherExpress PRO/100 network
interface card (NIC) under Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups, or any other
operating system, and restart your Compaq DeskPro or Prolinea PCI-bus based
computer, the power-on-self-test (POST) fails and video is not available.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use another supported NIC. For Windows NT,
refer to the Windows NT Hardware Compatibility List (HCL). For more
information, contact Intel Technical Support at (503) 696-8080.
