SYMPTOMS

Watermarks created in WordPerfect 6.0 or 6.1 are not converted into the above Word for Windows versions.

CAUSE

This is a design limitation of the current WordPerfect converter supplied with the above versions of Microsoft Word.

WORKAROUND

Once the document is converted into Word, re-create the watermark using a text box in the drawing layer or, for repeating watermarks on every page, create the watermark in the header using a frame or a text box.
