Removing Local Copies Of Projects With Delta

ID: Q132924

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Delta for Windows, version 1.0

To save disk space, Delta allows a project member to add files to a project without creating local copies. Upon loading a project's .MAK file in Visual Basic, Visual Basic issues a 'file not found' message for each non-local file.

Avoiding the 'file not found' messages may be accomplished by creating a separate .MAK file that includes the files you wish to work with (local copies). This additional .MAK should not be added to the Delta project. Any unnecessary files may be removed with the EDIT menu's Remove Local Copy command.
