SYMPTOMS
If you delete or rename one of files required by WordArt and then try to insert a WordArt object into a document, you may receive one of the following error messages:
Failed to create object. Make sure the object is entered in the system registry.
The server application, source file, or item can not be found. Make sure the application is properly installed and that it has not been deleted, moved or renamed.
RESOLUTION
If you receive one of these error messages, locate the Wrdart32.exe file in the "\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Wordart" folder.
Double-click the Wrdart32.exe file. If you receive an error message similar to the following
The dynamic link library filename could not be found in the specified path.
then the file listed in the error message may have been renamed or deleted. For example, the file name might be Pubole32.dll.
However, if the file listed in the error message is actually present on the system, it may be corrupted. To replace that file, rename it to something different, and then reinstall Microsoft Office 95. This should install a clean copy of the corrupted file and allow WordArt to run correctly.
