SYMPTOMS
Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
When you click the SpecialEffects button on the Formatting toolbar in
either forms or reports, the SpecialEffects option box extends beyond
the right edge of the screen.
CAUSE
When the video resolution is set to 640 by 480 pixels and when the
Formatting toolbar is docked at the top or at the bottom of the window,
the length of the Formatting toolbar is too long to fully display the
SpecialEffects option box.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, increase the video resolution to a
resolution higher than 640 by 480 pixels (VGA).
If increasing the resolution is not possible, undock the Formatting
toolbar from the top or the bottom of the screen. To undock the Formatting
toolbar, click an area of the toolbar not covered by a button, and then
drag the toolbar away from the edge of the window. Note that the
SpecialEffects option box is displayed fully.
