PUB: Rotated Bitmaps Print Distorted to LaserJet 5L

SYMPTOMS

If you print a publication that contains rotated or irregularly cropped bitmapped graphics to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet 5L printer, the graphics may print distorted.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the LaserJet 5L driver distorts nonrectangular bitmaps.

RESOLUTION

If you print to the LaserJet 5L using the LaserJet 5MP or LaserJet 4 printer drivers, the graphics should print correctly.
