SUMMARY

When the Auto Hide Between Uses option is selected (turned on) for the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar, you cannot drag a file to it. (Note that you can drag files to the Office Shortcut Bar as long as the Auto Hide option is not activated.)

MORE INFORMATION

When Auto Hide Between Uses is activated, the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar is displayed when the mouse is positioned over it; however, when you drag an object to the location of the toolbar, it will not be displayed. If you want to drag files to the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar, clear the Auto Hide Between Uses check box.
