SYMPTOMS

Find All Word Forms does not replace "kids" with "children." (To locate the Find All Word Forms option, click Replace on the Edit menu.)

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows 95, version 7.0. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use "tots" instead of "kids."

Find All Word Forms is used in the following situations:

To find all word forms of the word in the Find What box.
To replace all forms of the word in the Find What box with appropriate forms of the word in the Replace With box.
