SYMPTOMS

When you print a document to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) pen plotter such as the DraftMaster II, Draftpro EXL, and 7586b, the information in your project that should be printed in black is printed in yellow instead.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the HP pen plotter driver in Microsoft Windows 95 does not send the correct color information to the plotter. With the pens in the default order in the carousel (the black pen in position 1 and the yellow pen in position 4), information that should be printed with the black pen is printed with the yellow pen.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, switch the location of the pens in positions 1 and 4 of your printers carousel.

MORE INFORMATION

The following information describing this problem is contained in Plotters.wri (located in the folder in which you installed Microsoft Project):
The HP pen plotter driver in Windows 95 does not send the correct
color information to the plotter. With the pens in the default order in
the carousel, information that should print with the black pen (position
   1) is printed with the yellow pen (position 4). Swapping the location
of the pens in positions 1 and 4 of the carousel will solve this
   problem.
