- On the left, click All files and Folders.
- In the All or part of the file name box,
type the name of the file that you want to delete or rename.
- In the Look in box, click My

delete in the list of found files, and then click Delete.

Yes. To rename the file, right-click the file that you want to
rename in the list of found files, click Rename, press the END
key, type .old, and then press ENTER.
To delete or rename a Money
data file in earlier versions of Windows, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click
Search, and then click All Files and Folders.
- Click Tools, and then click Folder
Options.
- Click the View tab, click to clear the check box in front of Hide extensions for known file types, and then
click OK.
- In the All or part of the file name box,
type the name of the file that you want to delete or rename.
- In the Look in box, click My
Computer.
- Click More Advanced Options, click to select the check box in front
of Search Subfolders, and then click Search.
- To delete the file, right-click the file that you want to
delete in the list of found files, and then click Delete.
- If you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click
Yes.
- To rename the file, right-click the file that you want to
rename in the list of found files,and then click Rename.
- Change the name of the file to make sure that you keep the current file extension--for example, for Money files, .mny, .mbf, .mnx, .mxx. In this example, x is the version number of your Money data file.
- Press ENTER, press the END
key, type .old, and then press ENTER again.
