SYMPTOMS

If you open Systems Management Server Service Manager, select one of the Executive Component services, and choose the Pause button, the status of the service does not change.

CAUSE

Systems Management Server Service Manager is unable to pause Executive Component services.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
