SYMPTOMS
Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
When you change the SpecialEffect property of a text box from Flat to
Shadowed, the BorderWidth property changes from Hairline to 3 pt. If you
change the SpecialEffect property back to Flat, the BorderWidth is
unaffected. The result is a text box with a 3 pt. border, which may be
wider than you expect.
RESOLUTION
You can manually change the BorderWidth property of the text box to a
smaller width, such as Hairline (the default width).
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
