SYMPTOMS
When you use the Query Builder to set the RowSource property of a combo box
or list box, the RowSource property is not updated to the query's SQL
statement.
CAUSE
The RowSource property contains a value list at the time you open the Query
Builder. This prevents the Query Builder from updating the RowSource
property to the query's SQL statement.
RESOLUTION
Delete the value list from the RowSource property before using the Query
Builder to create an SQL statement.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access versions
2.0, 7.0, and 97. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
