Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
The Format Painter appears on several toolbars where it seems inappropriate
even though the feature is disabled. Because the Format Painter enables you
to copy the appearance of one control to another in Design view, it is
available on the Form Design and Report Design toolbars. However, it also
appears, disabled, on the following toolbars:
Database Relationships Table Design Table Datasheet Query Design Query Datasheet Form view Filter/Sort MacroCAUSE The Format Painter appears on most toolbars to provide consistency with other Microsoft Office programs.
STATUS This behavior is by design.
