PRB: Save As/Export Does Not Appear on Object's Shortcut Menu

SYMPTOMS

Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.

When you use the right mouse button (right-click) to click an object, such as a specific table or query, in the Database window, the Save As/Export command does not appear on the Shortcut menu.

RESOLUTION

Select the specific object in the Database window, and then right-click the object's tab, for example, the Tables tab or Queries tab. The Save As/Export command is available on the tab's Shortcut menu instead of on the individual object's Shortcut menu.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

Open the sample database Northwind.mdb.
Select the Customers table.
Right-click the Customers table. Note that Save As/Export does not appear on the Shortcut menu.
Right-click the Tables tab. Note that Save As/Export appears on the Shortcut menu.
