XL7: Error Pasting Map on Renamed Sheet

SYMPTOMS
When you copy or cut a Data Map that was created on a sheet that has been
renamed, and you paste it into a different workbook, you will receive the
following error message when you double-click the map:
An error has occurred while retrieving data from Microsoft Excel
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, click Paste Special on the Edit menu and paste
the map as a picture. The Data Map is not linked to the source data.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
MORE INFORMATION
When you copy data, the error message will appear if you rename the sheet
before you create the map. If you rename the sheet after you have created
the Data Map the data will be lost but you will not receive the error
message. When you cut data, the error will appear regardless of when the
sheet was renamed.
