Release Notes
This converter only reads Word 6.0 files, and it does not support saving
files into Word 6.0 format. Word 6.0 is capable of reading files from Word
5.x.
When converting Word 6.0 documents with OLE (Object Linking and Embedding)
objects, only the result of those objects will be retained. This means that
a converted file will display a picture of the object, but no binary OLE
data is retained.
Note that those formatting features in Word 6.0 that do not exist in Word
5.x for the Macintosh will not be retained in conversion. A complete list
is included in the file "Word 6.0 Conversion Information" which is included
with the converter.
Thank you for your support of Microsoft products.
