SYMPTOMS
When you use Microsoft Project for the Power Macintosh, cost numbers in
Fixed Cost, Cost, Baseline Cost in the task view columns, and Per/Use Cost
and Cost fields in the resource view columns appear as negative numbers.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the value in a cost field is greater than
$21,474,836.47 but less than $42,949,672.96.
RESOLUTION
The Cost Calculation Patch for the Power Macintosh is now available from
Microsoft Technical Support. This Patch includes the Microsoft Project 4.0
cost calculation update for the Power Macintosh. This update corrects a
problem you may experience when certain numbers are entered in cost fields.
