SYMPTOMS

OLE objects and pictures attached to the Gantt Chart drawing layer are not printed when you send them to a Hewlett-Packard graphics language (HP-GL) plotter.

CAUSE

You can print OLE objects from printers that can print bitmaps. However, HP-GL plotters are vector printing devices and are not capable of printing bitmaps.

RESOLUTION

To print these bitmap graphics on the Gantt Chart, you must use a different printing device. Plotters capable of printing graphics include the HP-GL/2 DesignJet series from Hewlett-Packard. These printers are inkjet plotters, not pen plotters, and they are able to print bitmap graphics. Windows drivers for these plotters are available from Hewlett-Packard (HP).
