SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, when you print notes in a view with a legend (for example a Gantt Chart), the notes pages contain extra space reserved for a legend. However, Microsoft Project does not print a legend on notes pages.

This problem does not occur when you print a view (for example a resource sheet) that lacks a legend.

WORKAROUND

In the Page Setup dialog box, click the Legend tab and in the Legend On section click either the Legend Page or the None button.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
