MSB: Program Runs Slowly on Macintosh (Virtual Memory)

SYMPTOMS

Magic School Bus, MSB Ocean or MSB Human seems to run slowly on your Macintosh.

RESOLUTION

The problem may be because Virtual Memory is turned on. For better performance, Virtual Memory should be turned off.

To turn off Virtual Memory, do the following:

  1. On the Apple Menu click Control Panels.
  2. Open the Memory Control Panel.
  3. In the Virtual Memory section, click Off.
  4. Close the Window.
  5. Restart your computer.
