SYMPTOMS
In the Microsoft programs listed above, the AutoCorrect feature does not
work when you enter text in any dialog box, including the Properties
dialog box.
CAUSE
The AutoCorrect feature allows you to create entries that replace a word
that you type with another word. For example, one of the default entries
replaces the word "teh" with "the". However, this feature does not work
in dialog boxes, including the Properties dialog box (on the File menu,
click Properties). For example, when you enter information in the
Comments field in the Properties dialog box for a file, if you type a
word that has an AutoCorrect entry, the word is not replaced by the word
specified in that AutoCorrect entry.
STATUS
This behavior is by design of the programs listed above.
