SUMMARY

Windows 95 comes with QuickView. QuickView allows users to view a file without actually starting the program that created the file.

Windows 95 includes viewers that allow users to view files created with Works 3.0. Viewer files specific to Works 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a are available with Works version 4.0a, 4.5, and 4.5a.

The QuickView feature of Windows 95 is not installed during a Typical installation. You can install QuickView with a Custom installation of Windows 95, or you can add it to a Typical installation. To add QuickView, do the following:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click the Windows Setup tab.
  4. Select Accessories, and then click Details.
  5. Select QuickView, and then click OK.
