    SUMMARY

This article discusses DNS software available for Windows NT Server.

    MORE INFORMATION

The following companies have developed or are developing DNS server related products for Windows NT Server:

    MetaInfo

MetaInfo shipped DNS version 1.1 in June of 1995. MetaInfo's DNS allows a Windows NT server to function as a DNS server. MetaInfo DNS is compatible with Windows NT Workstation and Server versions 3.1, 3.5, and 3.51. This product supports C2 level security, and has load balancing features for IP traffic. MetaInfo DNS does not allow a Windows NT based DNS server to query a Microsoft WINS database for host name to IP address mapping.

MetaInfo can be reached at (206) 523-0484.

Additional information about the metainfo product can be found at http://www.metainfo.com/.
