SUMMARY

An attachment to an e-mail message you send to the Internet can only be a file, not a message or object (such as a shortcut).

MORE INFORMATION

If you insert a message or object into an Internet e-mail message, The Microsoft Network removes the inserted message or object before sending the e-mail message.

The Microsoft Network automatically encodes attachments using UUENCODE before sending Internet e-mail messages.
