SYMPTOMS

A report definition, such as the Resource Usage, which uses the Resource Range filter may cause a general protection (GP) fault or may hang when you modify the page setup.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:

The report definition uses the Resource Range filter.

-and-

The header or footer for the report are modified to contain the Total Page Count field.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
