Publisher 95: Invalid Page Fault After Format Painting

SYMPTOMS
========

If you use the Format Painter button to pick up the formatting from some
text in a text frame and apply it to other text in the same text frame, and
if the text frame has a BorderArt design applied to it, you will receive
the following error message when you try to save the publication:

   This program has performed an illegal operation and will be
   shut down.

If you click Details, you will see a message similar to:

   MSPUB caused an invalid page fault in module MSPUB.EXE at
   0137:00423d6c

When you close this dialog box, Publisher will be closed.

NOTE: This error may also occur if you try to change the BorderArt
pattern on the text frame after you use the Format Painter within
that frame.

STATUS
======

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION
================

This problem also occurs if you use the Pick Up and Apply Styles commands
on the Format menu.

This problem does not occur if you format paint text in a different
text frame.
