PUB: Calendar Area Wizard Runs Even If Not Selected

SYMPTOMS

If you click the Area Wizard tool and don't make any choice from the Wizard menu, the Calendar Wizard will start when you draw a box on your publication. In addition, the only thing your mouse pointer will do after clicking the Area Wizard tool is draw a box for the Wizard.

CAUSE

If you don't make any choice on the Wizard menu, Publisher defaults to the first one on the list, which is the Calendar Wizard.

RESOLUTION

If you click the Area Wizard tool and then decide you don't want to add a Wizard to your publication, double-click another tool to clear the Wizard.

STATUS
