This dialog box allows you to stop the update. If you click the Stop button within three seconds, the OLE object will not be updated. If you open a Publisher document that contains an OLE object, if the OLE source is open, an Update Links dialog box will appear, but the update will occur automatically. When the OLE source file is already open, the appearance of the Update Links dialog box may be misunderstood. MORE INFORMATION ================ This behavior is by design.
