------------------------------------------------------------------------- The information in this article applies to: - Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95, version 3.0 - Microsoft Publisher for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a - Microsoft Windows 95 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SYMPTOMS ======== If you try to use some of the decorative TrueType symbol fonts that ship with CorelDRAW! version 4.0, 5.0, or 6.0, you will notice some of the following symptoms: - No matter what point size you choose for your text, text in these fonts appears and prints tiny. - No matter what letter you type using one of these fonts, the character is the same. - Your text appears as a series of dots or dashes. - Your text appears as a Windows vector font such as Modern, Roman, or Script. These problems occur if you are running Publisher on Windows 95 but not if you are using Windows NT 3.51. CAUSE ===== Some of the fonts that are known to exhibit these symptoms are: Animals1 Animals2 Charting Clocks CommonBullets HomePlanning1 HomePlanning2 Kidnap OfficePlanning1 OfficePlanning2 There may be others. RESOLUTION ========== You can use some of these fonts in WordArt objects successfully. STATUS ====== This is not a problem with Microsoft Publisher. These same fonts also work inconsistently in other programs running with Windows 95.
