SUMMARY

WordPerfect macro files and Works Communication files have the same .wcm file extension. If you install Works and WordPerfect on your computer, the WordPerfect macro files will be associated with Works.

MORE INFORMATION

Works Setup makes a registry entry in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT associating the .wcm extension with Works communication files. If you double-click a WordPerfect macro file in Windows Explorer after installing Works, Works opens the macro file.

NOTE: These macro files should only be opened in WordPerfect; if the file is opened and modified in Works, it may not function correctly in WordPerfect.
