To determine if your Macintosh Office program is the Power Macintosh version, click About (Application Name) on the Apple menu. The PowerMac versions of the Office programs display a message similar to the following:

Microsoft PowerPoint Version 4.0 for the Power Macintosh

If no text appears after the version number, you are running the version for the 680x0-series of Macintosh computers.

Another method is to use the Get Info command for the program. If a Note section appears below the Memory Requirements, the program is native. To use the Get Info command, follow these steps:

Open the folder that contains the program.
Click the program icon to select it.
On the File menu, click Get Info.

If one of the following messages appears at the bottom of the Get Info window, the program is optimized for the Power Macintosh:

Note: Memory requirements will increase by (a K value) if virtual memory is turned off in the Memory Control Panel.

Note: Memory requirements will decrease by (a K value) if virtual memory is turned on in the Memory Control Panel.

The messages may vary slightly if you are using Connectix Ram Doubler.

Microsoft Graph 5
Microsoft Movie

The following programs are for the 680x0-series Macintosh:
