BUG: VB 4.0 32-bit Quits When Deleting a Menu at Design Time

SYMPTOMS
After a specific series of menu manipulations with the Menu Editor and the
Properties window, deleting a menu and continuing with work causes VB32.EXE
to crash.
RESOLUTION
This problem occurs only with a very specific sequence of actions, and you
can easily work around it by avoiding the series of actions outlined in the
"Steps to Reproduce Problem" section of this article.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will
post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.
