Works 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a
Cannot access the document <path>\<filename>. The document may
already be open or it may be a read-only document.
Works 3.0

Opening a File From a Floppy Disk
If you try opening a file from a floppy disk you may receive the following
error message:
Cannot access file: insert the disk containing <path>\<filename>.
The document opens, but the graphic is not in the file.
MORE INFORMATION
When you insert a picture in a Works for MS-DOS file, the picture is
linked to the file rather than embedded. Works for Windows will open the
file without errors if the picture is in the same folder on your computer
as when you inserted it into the Works for MS-DOS file. When you open the
file, the placeholder for the graphic appears. When you double-click the
placeholder, the graphic appears.
