BUG: LOAD HEADERONLY Does Not Return @@rowcount |
Q139550
The @@rowcount global variable returns zero (0) for rows affected by the LOAD HEADERONLY command regardless of how many rows are returned.
The application can count the rows as they are returned.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
