PUB3: Segment Load Failure in ACT! After Installing Publisher

SYMPTOMS
========

If you try to start Symantec ACT! for Windows, versions 2.05 or earlier,
after you install Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95, you may receive an
error similar to the following:

   Segment load error in actwin2.exe @ 001A:5007d5.

ACT! for Windows is a business contact tracking and management tool.

CAUSE
=====

When you install Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95, the following files
are copied to your C:\Windows\System folder:

ACT! for Windows requires earlier versions of some of these files.

RESOLUTION
==========

This problem is resolved by version 2.06 of ACT! for Windows. If you have
an earlier version of ACT!, you can obtain an updater file named
Act209.exe. This file is available on the Internet, or can be obtained on
disk from Symantec.
