------------------------------------------------------------------------- The information in this article applies to: - Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95, version 3.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SYMPTOMS ======== If you save the text from a publication as a Word 2.0 for Windows or a Word 6.0 document and some of the text styles include bullets, you will receive the following error message: This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor. If you click Details, you will see a message similar to: MSPUB caused an invalid page fault in module WNWRD232.CNV at 0137:00ee9435. This problem occurs only if bullets are part of a style. If you simply apply bullets to existing text, you can save successfully. RESOLUTION ========== If you have bullets as part of a defined text style and you need to export the text in your publication, save the publication as a Rich Text Format (.rtf) file. MORE INFORMATION ================ You will see a similar symptom if you try to save the text in your publication as a WordStar file, and your styles contain a numbered list. STATUS ====== Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Publisher version 3.0 for Windows 95.
