Disk Space Alarm Reports Status on Hidden Drives

You can turn off the alarm for low disk space on hidden drives. To do so, follow these steps:

1. In System Agent, click the scheduled Disk Space Alarm task.
2. On the Program menu, click Properties.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click a hidden drive, and then click the "Notify me if there is less than <X> MB of free space" check box to clear it.
5. Click OK until you return to System Agent.

To modify a drive so that it is not hidden, follow these steps:

1. Click the Start button, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click DriveSpace.
2. Click a hidden drive.
3. On the Drive menu, click Properties.
4. Click the Hide This Host Drive check box to clear it, and then click OK.

When you remove a drive's Hidden attribute, the drive becomes available in My Computer or Windows Explorer so you can adjust the free space.
