If you connect using the MSN icon and service type Internet And The Microsoft Network and then double-click the Internet icon, the MSN Sign Up window appears.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, remove the Dial-Up Adapter and run the Internet Setup Wizard again.

To remove the Dial-Up Adapter, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Network.

  3. Click TCP/IP Dial-Up Adapter, and then click Remove.

  4. Click OK or Close until you return to Windows.

To run the Internet Setup Wizard, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Internet Tools, and then click Internet Setup Wizard.

You must also make sure the Connection tab of the Internet Properties screen shows that MSN is the Dial-Up Networking connection that is to be used to access the Internet.
