SYMPTOMS

In the versions of Microsoft Excel listed above, you cannot set the Zoom property of the PageSetup class using an undefined variable set to a value in a worksheet range. For example, the following code will fail:
   Sub Test()
       X = Worksheets(1).Cells(1, 1).Value
       ActiveSheet.PageSetup.Zoom = X
   End Sub

When you run this macro, you receive the following error message:
Unable to set the Zoom property of the PageSetup class.

CAUSE

The Zoom property only accepts integer values. When an undefined variable is set to a range value that contains an integer in a worksheet, the variable type is changed to the Double type.

STATUS
