CorelDraw 5.0 can export graphics in most graphics formats. Some of the more common formats CorelDraw supports include:


   Bitmap (*.bmp)
   Compuserve bitmap (*.gif)
   Computer graphic metafile (*.cgm)
   Jpeg Graphics (*.jpg)
   Paintbrush (*.pcx)
   Targa (*.tga)
   Tiff bitmap (*.tif)
   Windows metafile (*.wmf)
   AutoCAD (*.dxf)
   EPS (*.eps)
   HPGL Graphics (*.plt)
   WordPerfect Graphics (*.wpg)
   Macintosh PICT (*.pct)

The default graphic format for CorelDraw graphics is Corel Presentation Exchange (*.cmx). This format cannot be read by Word or Publisher. To use the graphic in either of these applications, you must export it in a graphic format that they support.

To export a graphic from CorelDraw 5.0 so you can use it in Word or Publisher, follow these steps:

Select the graphic.

On the File menu, click Export.

In the List Files Of Type box, click one of the graphics formats supported by Word or Publisher. (Windows metafile [*.wmf] is a good one.)

Verify the file name and the folder in which the file is located.

Click OK.

Your file can now be inserted in either Word or Publisher.
