PUB: Publisher Creates Unused DefaultPrinter Key in Registry

SYMPTOMS
When you install Publisher, the following key is added to the Windows 95 or
Windows NT registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Publisher\Printing\DefaultPrinter
This key is not used by Publisher.
RESOLUTION
It does not hurt anything for this key to be here. Changing or deleting
this key will have no effect.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
