SYMPTOMS

When you are selecting cells in an embedded spreadsheet or table in a Word Processing document, the cells will not scroll as you reach the edge of the document. This occurs if the borders of the spreadsheet or table are off the screen; the document will only scroll in the direction of the visible borders of the spreadsheet or table.

RESOLUTION

To select multiple cells in a table or spreadsheet, do either of the following:

Reduce the Zoom level so you can see the entire range to be selected. For example, set the Zoom level to 75%.

  1. Click on the first cell you want to select.
  2. Using the scroll bar at the bottom of the document window, scroll to the area you want included in the selected range.
  3. Hold down the SHIFT key and click on the last cell you want selected.
