SUMMARY

In Microsoft Excel, there are several ways to unhide rows and columns.

MORE INFORMATION

To unhide rows and columns in Microsoft Excel, use either of the following methods.

Method 1: To unhide specific rows without unhiding all rows do the

          following:

          a. Select the rows directly above and below the hidden rows
(or a range that contains the hidden rows). For example, if
rows 2 and 3 are hidden, select rows 1 and 4.

          b. In Microsoft Excel versions 5.0 and 7.0, on the Format menu,
click Rows and then click Unhide. In Microsoft Excel version
4.0, on the Format menu, click Row Height, and then click the
             Unhide button.

To unhide specific columns without unhiding all columns do the
          following:

          a. Select the columns directly to the left and right of the
hidden columns (or a range that contains the hidden columns).
For example, if columns B and C are hidden, select columns
             A and D.

          b. In Microsoft Excel versions 5.0 and 7.0, on the Format menu,
click Columns and then click Unhide. In Microsoft Excel
version 4.0, on the Format menu, click Column Height and then
             click the Unhide button.

Method 2: To unhide all hidden rows or all hidden columns, do the
          following:

          a. Highlight the entire worksheet by pressing
CTRL+SHIFT+SPACEBAR. The entire worksheet should now be
             highlighted.

          b. To unhide rows or columns in versions 5.0 and 7.0, on the
Format menu click Rows or Columns and then click unhide.
In version 4.0, on the Format menu, click Row Height or Column
Height, and then click the Unhide button.
