SUMMARY

Many of the publications created by the PageWizard Design Assistants require the TrueType fonts that ship with Publisher to maintain their design integrity. If you choose a custom installation of Microsoft Publisher and install the PageWizard Design Assistants but not the TrueType fonts, the results you get from the Wizards may look bad.

MORE INFORMATION

If the specific fonts required by the PageWizards are not installed, they will generally be substituted with Times New Roman and Arial. This substitution may cause the text in text frames to wrap incorrectly or to overflow the frame; it may also cause tables to appear too large or too small.

If you did not originally install the TrueType fonts that come with Publisher, you can add them by doing the following:
  1. Click the Start button on the taskbar and point to Settings.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Click Microsoft Publisher for Windows 95 or 97 from the list of installed programs, and then click Add/Remove.
  5. In the Publisher for Windows Setup dialog box, select (put an "x" in) the Fonts check box. Click Continue.
  6. Insert the Publisher disks or compact disc when you are prompted to do so.
